Pedagogical assistant sought for Ulbjerg Børnehus and Ulbjerg Friskole

We are seeking a motivated and present pedagogical assistant who would like to become part of both our daycare and our school.

The position will be a combination of hours in Ulbjerg Daycare and a support function in the school part. We are flexible regarding employment rate and number of hours, so the position can be adapted to the right candidate.

About us

Ulbjerg Daycare and Ulbjerg Free School are one cohesive community with children from toddlers (nursery) to 9th grade.

We are a small and close-knit place where we know each other, help each other and work together to create good conditions for the children. Our values of community, well-being and playful learning run as a red thread through the entire house – from the youngest children in the nursery to the students in 9th grade.

We believe that children thrive and develop best when they are met by attentive adults, clear frameworks and strong communities.

Nature and outdoor life also fill a large part of our everyday life. We use our surroundings actively and are happy to be outside in all kinds of weather, where play, learning, movement and community go hand in hand.

About the position

You will have hours in our daycare and possibly in the school.

In the daycare you will become part of the daily pedagogical practice with children aged 0-6 years. Here the focus is on care, security, relationships, play and development. We place great emphasis on outdoor life and on giving the children the opportunity to experience, explore and play in nature.

In the school part you will be involved as a support function around the students and teachers. This can include support for individual students or small groups, help to create good conditions for learning and well-being, and to be an extra present adult in the everyday life of the school.

Experience from a daycare or school is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you want to work with children and be an active part of our community.
