Pedagogical staff member for Mikkelborg – the world's best kindergarten

We are an outreach kindergarten by the Øresund, seeking a new colleague 20 hours per week – preferably with an interest in nature and outdoor life.

We are looking for a colleague who is interested in a 20-hour work week distributed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You will clock in at our kindergarten in Mikkelborg and ensure that the house is open and ready for play when the others arrive by bus.

You can be a pedagogue, PAU or something entirely different, as long as you are caring, child-friendly, curious about the child's intentions, focused on children’s communities and eager to be outdoors in all kinds of weather.

We work across the rooms and place great emphasis on good collaboration and flexibility. We are looking for a colleague with good energy, who is participatory and proactive in their pedagogical practice, and who can work independently. You should be able to take initiative, maintain an overview and be keen to step directly into our already established activities and traditions.

You will become part of an educational learning environment with beach, water, nature, all-day trips, bonfire, kitchen garden and a food and meal culture rooted in soil to table.

Mikkelborg consists of a nursery with 25 children in the Inner City and an outreach kindergarten in Rungsted with 44 children and a total of 14 permanent staff members.

Employment terms

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of locally negotiated wages.

Your working hours will be 8.45-15.00 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, in addition to participation in various staff meetings and parent events.

The position is initially 20 hours per week and is most desired to be filled by January 1, 2027.
