About the job
Do you want to use your physiotherapy professional expertise close to the citizens and help create rehabilitative solutions that make a difference in everyday life? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for to the Holistic Care service in Glesborg.
In the Holistic Care Service in Glesborg we are seeking a physiotherapist who is passionate about rehabilitation, interdisciplinary collaboration and working with people.
We are at the heart of an exciting development in the future of elder care, where the citizens' wishes, resources and daily life are the focus.
Therefore we are looking for a physiotherapist who wants to bring their professional expertise into play close to the citizens and help develop our new holistic care.
With us you will be part of an interdisciplinary community with social and health helpers, social and health assistants, nurses and an occupational therapist. We believe that the best solutions are created together, and that different professional backgrounds make us stronger.
The working hours are on weekdays and primarily day shifts with start time at 7:00 a.m.
What will you be doing?
As a physiotherapist you will be an important part of the everyday life around the citizens. You help identify resources, opportunities and rehabilitation potential and translate your professional knowledge into concrete actions that strengthen the citizens' ability to live an independent and meaningful life.
Your tasks will include, among others
- Conduct physiotherapeutic assessments in the citizens' homes.
- Plan and carry out training and rehabilitation programs.
- Contribute to preventing loss of function and support citizens' functional capacity.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and joint citizen pathways.
- Coach and advise colleagues in rehabilitative efforts.
- Document interventions and follow-up in KMD Nexus.
Who are you?
We imagine that you
- Are educated as a physiotherapist.
- Want to work closely with the citizens' everyday life.
- See opportunities in interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Work independently and take responsibility.
- Are curious about others' professional disciplines and are happy to share your own knowledge.
- Meet citizens, relatives and colleagues with respect and recognition.
Experience from the elderly care sector is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important is that you want to be an active part of the development and contribute with your professional expertise.
Why choose us
We offer
- A newly created position with the opportunity to put your own mark on it.
- A strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Professional sparring with both physiotherapist and occupational therapist colleagues.
- Influence on the planning of your tasks.
- A workplace focused on development, well-being and community.
- Opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of elder care in Norddjurs Municipality.
As a physiotherapist you will have a unique opportunity to shape both the position and the development of holistic care in Glesborg.
In Glesborg we are the smallest holistic care unit in Norddjurs, and we see this as a strength. Here there is a short distance to colleagues, and we know each other across teams and professional groups. We are proud of the working environment we have created together. In fact we often hear from both colleagues and partners that Glesborg is a nice place to be and a good place to work.
At the same time we are in an exciting development. Since September we have worked as holistic care, and it is new for us to have therapists attached to the unit. Therefore you get the opportunity to help shape the interdisciplinary collaboration and the rehabilitative efforts going forward.
Employment terms
The position is 37 hours per week and is desired to be filled as soon as possible and no later than January 1, 2027.
