About the job

We are looking for 2 colleagues

1 Social- and Health Care Assistant/SSA, minimum 25 hours per week in a permanent position mainly day shifts. We have the possibility to offer you full-time if desired. If you are a newly graduated nurse, then this job may also be something for you – contact us to hear more about the position.

1 Social- and Health Care Assistant/SSA, minimum 30 hours per week in a permanent position mainly evening shifts or fixed evening shifts. We have the possibility to offer you full-time if desired. Our evening shift positions include every other weekend.

Our mixed shift positions are generally with the possibility of every 2nd or every 3rd weekend (+ an extra weekend every 12 weeks), depending on how your other preferences for shift planning are.

We expect that you have the desire and ability to

• Put your professionalism to use in a way that supports our wish to provide residents with care and treatment based on your professional knowledge and current elderly law.
• Develop your professional knowledge and practical skills in interaction with colleagues, as we in daily life focus on competence development and the rehabilitative approach.
• Make a positive difference for the residents at Kastaniehaven in the form of your work as a social and health care assistant.
• Be a colleague who contributes positively and personally to the multidisciplinary collaboration and to our working environment, where dialogue, cooperation and trust are keywords.
• Communicate in an appreciative way and promote a culture of good cooperation and a sense of community, where we are COLLEAGUES WITH WILL.

We see it as an advantage if you have experience with documentation in nexus, but it is not a requirement. Furthermore, we would like you to have a basic acceptable level of IT and a willingness to learn new things.

About us

Kastaniehaven Care Center is located in Give and is an active place with high ceilings, where we want to make a difference. Our wish is for Kastaniehaven to be a meeting place and center with room for good communities that bring people together. We want good everyday life with lots of star moments for residents, visitors in our day center and Activity House, locals, volunteers and staff.

We are a large multidisciplinary group of employees, which gives a dynamic environment with many different activities and focus areas. The care center has 77 apartments, distributed in 4 living units, one of which is a safeguarded special unit for residents with dementia. In the center building there are both a cafe, activity house and a registered day center. We have a close and rewarding cooperation in the local area and with the voluntary life in and around Kastaniehaven.

We offer you

You will have the opportunity to influence planning of attendance and can give input to your basic routine.

We take as a starting point your prerequisites in planning your introduction to the job, which is planned in collaboration between management and new colleagues.

We work purposefully with competence development and sparring in multidisciplinary collaboration.

We are happy to send our staff on courses relevant to residents at Kastaniehaven and for the development of our professional skills – e.g. dementia courses, course in neuro-pedagogy, supervisor education etc.

You will have good colleagues who work in close cooperation to solve everyday tasks, also across professions and across Kastaniehaven's departments.

We focus on physical and mental health and offer staff the possibility to use a massage chair, training facilities and NADA.

Furthermore, we have a well-functioning staff association if you want more social activities with colleagues outside of work time.

Terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment according to collective agreement and local pay.

Employment is in accordance with the collective agreement for 73.01 Social and Health Care Personnel - SSA, §§ 4-6. The expected starting salary for full-time and excluding pension is base pay grade (step 24-27) based on seniority, in the range DKK 29,579 – 34,898. The final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on education, experience and qualifications as well as the specific offered position.

We expect employment from January 1, 2027, but other arrangements can also be agreed
