About the job

Do you have a passion for helping to strengthen children’s participation in the school’s learning communities? Do you have knowledge within the pedagogical-psychological field and strong supervisory/mentoring competences? Then you now have the opportunity to become part of a professionally strong community in Pedagogical-Psychological Counseling (PPR) in the Municipality of Odense.

PPR 6-18 years has in recent years been part of a national development, bringing us closer to the school’s practice. We prioritize a close and flexible collaboration with the school’s professionals to ensure all children’s participation in the school’s learning environments. As a consultant in a practice-oriented PPR, you are the school’s external partner, but you are invited into the school’s engine room, where you collaborate with the school’s leadership, teachers and pedagogues on pupil matters, interventions in learning environments and around the development agendas that the school is pursuing.

As a pedagogical consultant in PPR you become part of a cross-professional school team together with one or two psychologists. The school team has a presence at the schools and should help support early detection and practice-oriented prevention. As a school team you support collectively one to three public schools (some with specialized services), where you solve tasks individually and in collaboration depending on what the task requires.

The establishment of school teams is part of a reorientation of PPR, which takes effect upon your employment, so you are involved from the start of your school team and have ample opportunity to help develop the team’s collaboration and support for the school’s core task.

The positions are all 37 hours per week with starting date 1 January 2026.

About Pedagogical-Psychological Counseling (PPR) in the Municipality of Odense

We are a group with a diverse breadth of knowledge, interests and experiences, where we are committed to applying and developing competencies, learning and knowledge together. The professional level is high, and we focus on working preventively, consultatively and relationally. We have a strong collegial community, where there is room for social interaction both around professional as well as community-oriented agendas.

We offer a dynamic workplace with many new and varied tasks.
