EUC Nord is seeking a school-based apprenticeship instructor for the school apprenticeship center located in Hjørring within the carpentry trade.

We place emphasis on a spacious working and school apprenticeship environment with room for diversity, which requires you to be open-minded, respectful and have a positive approach to other people. You must be able to motivate and guide the students so they want to learn the subject and gain the best possible competencies to carry into their future working life, whether they complete their apprenticeship program at the center or in an educational agreement with a company.

Work area

As an instructor for young people who are in school-based apprenticeship, you should work to provide the students with an apprenticeship program that is as close to practice as possible and help arrange activities for the department. It is about ensuring that the apprenticeship center has technically relevant and economically viable tasks as a subcontractor to local production and repair companies as well as tasks internally at EUC Nord.

You have an important task in continuing to build a working environment that contributes to the apprentices achieving professional pride and taking ownership of their practical tasks.

You must establish contact with companies so that the students can undertake company-based training or remaining apprenticeship arrangements.

You must have the desire and talent to build long-term corporate networks for the benefit of the students' practical education off-site as well as help promote the apprenticeship center as a good alternative to a standard educational agreement.

• relevant education within the carpentry trade, preferably with further or continuing education

Employment .

The employment is at M. P. Koefoeds Vej 10, 9800 Hjørring and is full-time in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the state sector Craftsmen and technicians - Danish Metal, Danish Electric Union, Sheet Metal and Plumbing Workers’ Union, Painters’ Union in Denmark, 3F, Service Union, Technical Landsforbund – to the base salary in the collective agreement of 29,508.83 kr. per month there is a possibility to negotiate additional allowances for experience in recruitment.
