Do you dream of gaining insight into how to plan and manage contracts in large construction projects – and at the same time work with the latest technology in the “digital” construction industry?

As an intern you will be an important part of our team, where you can gain hands-on experience with contract and project management of exterior and interior cladding. With us you get the opportunity to experience the combination of design and execution, and to help create lasting solutions that make a real societal impact.

As an intern in Construction East - Private, you will have a unique opportunity to experience the dynamic daily life on a construction site, where two days are rarely the same. We expect you to actively participate as part of our project team, and you will be involved in department meetings and activities, so you gain insight into several steps of the process. At NCC you get a close and educational collaboration with both senior profiles and younger colleagues.

We give you responsibility from the start, but at the same time provide the necessary sparring and support from skilled and approachable colleagues who are ready to share their knowledge.

As an intern you can, among other things, contribute with

• Safety and the working environment
• Scheduling and time management
• Supervision and coordination of trades and subcontractors
• Coordination of tasks with hourly-paid employees and suppliers
• Quality assurance in DALUX

We are seeking four interns for Construction East, Private. You will have the opportunity to work either with exterior or interior cladding on our project in Hillerød.

Pharma project in Hillerød

In Hillerød approx. 42,000 m² is being built, including quality laboratories and office facilities for a large player in the pharma industry. The shell and sewer work started in January 2026. The exterior cladding works start in autumn 2026, while the interior trades commence in early 2027.

We are looking for you who

• Are a student in an engineering or building constructor education – and if you also have a craft background, that will be considered an advantage but not a requirement
• Have good Danish skills in speaking and writing, and are proficient in MS Office
• Are ready to dive into a somewhat steep learning curve and able to collaborate with many different disciplines
• Are confident in yourself and have a good amount of curiosity to follow up on and coordinate the cladding trades on a large and complex construction site.
