Process-driven auditor for BDO's professional department

In BDO's professional department, Center of Excellence, you are not only involved in finding good solutions - you are also involved in making them live in the organization.

Your day-to-day in Center of Excellence

From the office in either Aarhus or Aalborg you get close to the way we work with auditing in BDO. You help develop and improve our central audit processes and your work doesn't stop when the good solution is found - you also help to get it out into the organization.

This means you will both delve into auditing professional issues and work on development, testing and implementation of new processes and workflows. You collect experiences from colleagues in the audit practice, translate them into concrete improvements and help ensure coherence between our methodology, systems and guidelines.

An important part of the role will also be to bring others along. You will, among other things, meet with colleagues and representatives across our regions, teach audit colleagues and support them when new solutions are put into use. Therefore you must not only be able to see what is professionally the right solution, but also how we get it to work in the daily life of the auditor.

In addition you will become part of the daily professional sparring in CoE, where you answer professional questions and contribute to guidelines, news and teaching materials. You will continue to have client work to a lesser extent, so you maintain the practical touch with auditing work.

Who are you?

With your experience as an auditor you have a solid understanding of the audit processes and the daily life our solutions must operate in. Professionalism is important to you, and you become curious when you encounter an issue that requires a deeper dive. At the same time you are not necessarily motivated only by finding the professionally correct answer. You also want to translate it into solutions that work in practice, and bring others along.

You therefore thrive on cross-functional collaboration and dare to challenge the way we do things today. You are good at listening to different perspectives, bringing people together around a solution and communicating complex professional topics so they become usable for others.

You don't need to come from a professional department today. You can easily be in a classic audit role and have reached a point where you are curious to use your auditor expertise in a new way.

We imagine that you

• have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an auditor
• have an HD or cand.merc.aud. or are in the process of SR
• thrive in driving tasks forward and translating ideas into practice
• are willing to bring together different perspectives and get colleagues on board when new solutions are to be implemented
