about the job

As a process engineer you step right into the production engine room and become the primary technical driver ensuring coherence when new high-tech products are introduced. You will be responsible for analyzing the processes and optimizing the transfer from the design phase to wave and reflow soldering, coating and assembly. This means a varied daily life, where you balance deep technical optimization with a broad interface, working closely with production operators and the customers' external development departments.

• Manage and systematize the entire NPI process (New Product Introduction), so complex electronic products are transferred faultlessly and efficiently to NECAS's production lines.
• Implement and optimize advanced AI-based automated inspection systems (AOI) that raise quality and ensure full traceability in accordance with the strictest standards.
• Navigate in a dynamic daily routine, where you proactively identify and mitigate potential production risks before they develop into quality problems.

your toolbox and profile

What you bring with you

• Solid and documented experience as process engineer, production technologist or a similar technical key role within electronics production (EMS industry).
• In-depth knowledge of process optimization (e.g., within reflow soldering, selective soldering or coating) and strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards (e.g., class 3).
• A relevant educational foundation such as engineer, production technologist or a strong practically grounded background combined with solid theoretical insight from the electronics industry.
• Professional communication skills in both Danish and English, as you act as an advisory partner for international partners.

As a person you thrive on taking the lead and possess the necessary initiative to drive both technical optimizations and process changes. You work analytically, have a pronounced eye for detail and never compromise on quality, which is crucial when delivering components to critical industries such as space and defence. You have the professional authority and the relational finesse that makes you a respected sparring partner for both floor colleagues and the engineers at the customer.

If you have experience with AS9100 certification, ATEX or familiarity with J-STD-001, that is an advantage, but your technical drive and your desire to be a specialist in the field are the most important.
