Product Manager for BankInvest

There is a long way from an investment idea to a product a advisor can sell, and a system can handle. As Product Manager you manage the process from development being initiated to launch. It is also your role as Product Manager to manage onboarding of new institutional clients from entering the agreement to transition to operation.

From customer request to operations

You sit at the head of the implementation and use your product knowledge to set the requirements along the way, ensuring that both colleagues and external partners deliver on time.

Specifically you will

• Plan and manage the implementation, including preparation of activity and schedule plans
• Ensure that contributions to board resolutions, articles of association, prospectuses and fund instructions from the relevant areas have the necessary quality
• Ensure that the investment strategy and framework are described clearly enough to be set up in practice
• Follow through the setup in the systems – internally and with our partners
• Response to due diligence questionnaires from partners

Get broad cross-organizational exposure

You will be part of a four-person team where you have independent responsibility for your tasks, but where we share knowledge and help each other when it gets busy. The everyday is varied and provides insight into the entire value chain and collaboration across the organization.

What we are looking for

You will be part of various processes with many stakeholders, none of whom report to you, where you take the lead with your professional weight to challenge and set requirements. It calls for someone who can keep a plan, follow up without being asked, and say no when input is not good enough. You manage to have an eye for detail without losing the overview. You work in Danish and English in both written and spoken form.

We imagine that you have

• Experience from an asset manager and knowledge of investment products and the operational value chain
• A advanced degree in economics or finance – cand.merc., cand.oecon., HD or equivalent
• Routine in Excel and experience in working structured with data, documentation and AI

Additionally, if you have experience with investment and mutual funds, including regulation and documentation requirements or with leading implementation programs, that is a plus.

Who we are

BankInvest is a Danish asset manager that has existed since 1969. We are owned by a circle of Danish financial institutions, and most of the assets we manage come from private investors who are clients of those banks. In addition, there are institutional clients domestic and foreign.

We develop and manage investment products in equities, bonds, multi-asset and thematic investments. The group employs a little over 120 people, and we are located centrally in Copenhagen.
