As the Production Manager at Cater Food in Ikast you will have overall responsibility for production and a highly central role in the company's continued development. The position as Production Manager

You report to the director and will be responsible for about 70 employees, including 10 middle managers in direct reference . Your task is to set direction, develop the leaders and ensure a stable and efficient production.

You are visible in daily operations, understand production right down to the machine room and manage to combine technical depth with natural authority. You set requirements, follow up and make decisions, while involving the employees and creating commitment.

Your primary areas of responsibility

Production management and operations

• Ensure a stable, efficient and structured production.
• Follow up on productivity, quality and delivery reliability.
• Optimize workflows and make the best use of the new production facilities.

Quality and food safety

• Ensure high standards for quality, hygiene and food safety.
• Maintain good working practices and ensure continuous improvements.

Leadership and culture

• Lead and develop the 10 middle managers in the well-functioning leadership team.
• Set clear goals and ensure accountability, progress and follow-up.
• Be a visible and unifying leader who continues Cater Food's strong culture.

Qualifications

Professional qualifications and experience

You have a minimum of 5 years of management experience in a similar role and solid experience in food production. You may currently be a Production Manager or come from a position as a production manager or operations manager. A butcher trade background would be an advantage.

• You have experience with production management and preferably management across multiple levels.
