ECM Industries, which is part of Baso Group, continues the journey of growth and new goals.

Baso Group is a holding company owning a number of specialized industrial companies in the fields of advanced metalworking, machine building and technical production solutions.

ECM focuses on flexible and professional solutions within metalworking. They currently employ around 110 employees at their 3 factories, centrally located in the tri-county area.

ECM has many years of experience and delivers to customers who set high requirements for quality, documentation and precision. At ECM Industries there is a focus on good craftsmanship, technical development and an engaged collaboration across the organization.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a new KPI-driven and target-oriented experienced leader as Production Manager (PM), who will help take them to new goals.

The position

The position is new to the organization and will, as mentioned, report to the current Production Manager at ECM Industries.

As PM you will have a central role in daily operations with responsibility for approx. 20 industrial technicians currently on day and evening shifts.

The tasks

The new PM shall ensure that production runs efficiently, with high quality and in a good working environment. The PM is close to both people and machines – and thrives on taking responsibility, making decisions and driving progress.

Main tasks will be

• Daily responsibility for the operation of production
• Motivation and development of the approx. 20 employees - including 2 on the evening shift
• Conduct employee development meetings, salary and absence discussions
• Daily follow-up on production orders
• Quality assurance and process optimization
• Active work with continuous improvements
• Reporting and sparring with the current Production Manager
• Close collaboration with the PTA function and sales.

The candidate

Experience from a manufacturing company in a similar role within the metal, CNC, milling area is a requirement.

Experience with having full responsibility for operations and employees is a prerequisite to be able to hold the position.

It is expected that the new PM can step into the role and take responsibility from day one.

The new PM should preferably be characterized by being

• Familiar with working in a fast-paced environment with many points of contact
• Comfortable being close to operations and in daily dialogue with your team
• A strong business understanding and a natural focus on efficiency

Education

Background as Industrial Technician – preferably supplemented with a management education.

Residence

Maximum 1 hour drive to the workplace.

Language

Danish and English in writing and speech.

IT skills

Power user in the MS Office package

Experience with the ERP system Monitor and Mastercam for programming would absolutely be an advantage, though not a requirement.
