About the job
When minutes determine life
When a person collapses with cardiac arrest, rapid assistance is crucial. The 20 nearest cardiac responders receive an alert, and a defibrillator is picked up on the way to the patient to provide CPR as quickly as possible. The Cardiac Responder Scheme and Defibrillator Network have become an important part of the Danish effort to ensure quick help when every minute counts. Behind this effort are technology, people and a collaboration that works when it really matters.
Now the Cardiac Responder Scheme and Defibrillator Network are to transition to the regions, and we are looking for a project manager who wants to help ensure that the handover succeeds and that the solutions develop further for the benefit of citizens across Denmark.
It is not just a digitalization project. It is digitalization with a purpose. It is about life.
Join us to secure the future Cardiac Responder Scheme and Defibrillator Network
From 2028 the regions will take over the Cardiac Responder Scheme and Defibrillator Network, which today is operated by Tryg Fonden. At the same time there will be a new cross-regional secretariat to ensure operation, development and coordination of the solutions across Denmark. Here you will play a key role. You will help set direction and get complex processes to land safely in interaction with many partners. You will be the one who ensures progress when many interests, perspectives and disciplines must come together for one common task. And when the handover is completed, work continues.
For the solutions not only to be run but to be further developed, improved and future-proofed.
What you will work with
You will have the responsibility to
- drive the cross-regional transition of the Cardiac Responder Scheme and Defibrillator Network as well as the establishment of the upcoming cross-regional secretariat
- translate complex challenges into concrete plans, decisions and results
- create collaboration across pre-hospital environments, AMK dispatch centers, Digitalization and Technology, and national partners
- support leadership, governance and decision forums with clear decision briefs and strong executive support
- ensure anchoring, user involvement and continued development of the solutions
- financial management, including budgeting, financial follow-up and ongoing overview of the project’s finances.
- drive the establishment of the upcoming cross-regional secretariat
In other words: You must create results in complex collaborations.
We believe you will succeed if you
- enjoy complex tasks and can create momentum, even when the path is not fully mapped
- have several years of experience with project management across organizations, disciplines and interests
- can balance strategy, relationships and execution and create followership across disciplines, regions, suppliers and leadership
- communicates sharply and can make complex issues understandable and action-oriented
- understands the interplay between people, business and technology.
It is an advantage if you know the health service, the pre-hospital area or the public sector.
Why you should apply
You will of course have the opportunity to work with project management at the highest level. But more importantly: You become part of something that reaches far beyond technology. When people have cardiac arrest, help must be there. Your work will help ensure that it is.
