THE JOB

Do you want to lead cross-functional projects and ensure that new products and campaigns make it from plan to launch in a company with some of the world's most iconic design furniture?

For a temporary position we are seeking a structured and proactive Project Manager who will take a central role in planning and coordinating product launches and commercial campaigns from a supply chain perspective.

You will coordinate the projects from startup to stable operation and bring the relevant disciplines together around a common plan. You create an overview of milestones, dependencies and decisions, so materials, master data, capacity and deliveries are ready for the agreed time.

You create momentum through clear project management, close dialogue and practical problem solving. You identify risks early and bring forward proposed solutions and necessary decisions to the relevant management.

You will work closely with product development, sales and marketing, procurement, master data, planning, production, quality, logistics and customer service.

Your primary tasks will among other things be

• Clarify the scope, goals, success criteria and milestones of the projects together with relevant stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain plans with responsibilities, timelines, resource needs and dependencies in accordance with the product development plans
• Drive status meetings and follow up on agreements and decisions
• Coordinate readiness for launch, including materials, master data, pilot series, quality tests and production capacity
• Plan campaigns with sales and ensure alignment between forecast, stock, capacity and delivery commitments
• Handle risks, bottlenecks and changes and present proposed solutions with implications for time, costs and service
• Prepare launch decisions with an overview of status, readiness and open risks
• Coordinate handover to operations, follow up on the initial deliveries and translate experiences into improvements

You will become part of Supply Chain Excellence / S&OP in Gelsted and report to the Head of Supply Chain Excellence. The role has no personnel responsibility; you lead the projects' progress and collaboration across the organization from a supply chain perspective

QUALIFICATIONS

We envision that you have experience with project management or cross-functional project coordination from a manufacturing company – preferably with product introductions, launches or supply chain.

You may have a relevant education within project management, supply chain, production or business development. Your practical experience in turning plans into results and creating collaboration across functions is highly valued.

In addition, we would like you to

• Have experience with project plans, milestones, risk management and follow-up on decisions
• Understand the relationship between product development, demand, materials, capacity and delivery reliability
• Work in a structured and analytical manner and use data to create an overview and support decisions
• Have good system understanding and experience with ERP systems – preferably D365 FO – as well as Excel and project tools
• Be able to translate commercial goals into realistic plans for launches and campaigns
• Communicate clearly and create engagement and a shared direction across disciplines
• Can drive progress without direct personnel responsibility and clarify priorities with relevant managers
• Are proactive and solution-oriented and handle changes with a view to the project's overall goals

As a person you are structured, persistent and good at keeping an overview when several projects and considerations must be balanced. You follow up on agreements and tackle challenges while there is still time to solve them.

You are motivated by bringing people together around a common task and translating plans into successful launches. You thrive close to operations and can combine a holistic perspective with attention to the details that determine whether a launch succeeds.
