Project Manager for the Nature and Water Areas in Greve Municipality

Are you a person nourished by dialogue with many different stakeholders? Is co-creation more than a word for you and do you naturally work across organizations, then you may be our new project manager for the nature area in Greve Municipality.

You will become a central driver in the development of nature projects, created in close collaboration with citizens, landowners, agriculture, advisers and authorities. You see value in dialogue and involvement and can translate input and local perspectives into solutions that create value for both nature and the local community.

Short about the position

The Nature and Environment Unit consists of fifteen engaged colleagues, including a smaller group working with various tasks within the nature area.

We are seeking a new colleague who will, among other things, translate the ambitions in The Green Tripartite into projects with focus on closing drains in existing forests and establishing new nature.

You will develop, plan and coordinate the projects from the initial analyses to implementation in close collaboration with different partners. In addition to driving your own projects, you will play a central role in supporting the development of project professionalism in the area and help build strong project competencies in the unit.

This is a newly established position, so you will have the opportunity to influence the content of the tasks. Depending on your competencies, wishes and the team's needs you will also work with nature management, river projects and other authorities tasks.

About the role and expectations

Your tasks will include

• Planning, coordination and implementation of Green Tripartite nature projects
• Short analyses and work with geographic data in, among other things, Scalgo and QGIS
• Contribute to development of project ideas and project maturation
• Preparation of decision basis, applications and project material

We imagine that you

• Have a relevant educational background, for example biologist, nature geographer, forest and landscape engineer, surveyor, environmental engineer or similar
• Have experience with or interest in project management and coordination of complex nature-related tasks
• Work in a structured way and are able to keep an overview, also when several projects run simultaneously
• Have a driver's license for a passenger car.

The appointment is a full-time position of 37 hours/week with flexitime. Salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement. We try to have as few meetings on Fridays, where you can work from home.
