About the job

Are you our new radiographer colleague?

We are seeking a radiographer with broad competencies for a 12-month maternity leave cover in Radiology and Scanning at Bornholm Hospital.

Starting on 1 January 2027.

Would you like a daily routine where you have the opportunity to apply and develop your radiography-related competencies? Do you thrive in a workplace where colleagues know each other and help one another?

A department with breadth and variation

Bornholm Hospital is both the Capital Region's smallest hospital and Denmark's smallest acute hospital. This means we are a smaller organization where collaboration across departments and professional groups is a natural part of everyday life.

Radiology and Scanning is a smaller department where people quickly get to know each other, and where each employee's contribution matters for the overall daily work. We are radiographers, radiography nurses, SOSU workers, radiologists and secretaries who together solve the department's tasks. We have conventional radiography, CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and DEXA and work purposefully with both professional development, well-being and the work environment.

We are seeking a radiographer with broad radiography competencies. You do not need to be an expert in everything. The most important is that you want to work broadly, learn new things, and contribute to the overall task solution.

The department is in an exciting phase of development. In recent years we have replaced a large part of our equipment, and in autumn 2026 both the MRI scanner and fluoroscopy equipment will be replaced/upgraded.

What can we offer you?

As a radiographer with us you will have a varied day-to-day life and a high degree of independence. You will become part of a team where we emphasize helping each other and carrying out tasks together.

We offer among other things

  • Close interdisciplinary collaboration with engaged colleagues.
  • Good opportunities for professional and personal development.
  • Thorough onboarding designed based on your competencies and experience.
  • A high degree of independence and responsibility.
  • Focus on quality, patient safety and a good patient journey.
  • An open culture where ideas and innovation are welcome.
  • Regular teaching days with instruction from radiologists and reporting radiographers.
  • A close professional collaboration with the Radiology Department at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital.

Who are you?

  • Radiographer with Danish authorization.
  • Thrives in a dynamic and varied daily routine.
  • Can work independently while actively participating in a team.
  • Is approachable and can maintain an overview—even when things are busy.
  • Wants professional development and to learn new things.
  • Contributes positively to the collegial community.
