About the job
Do you have experience with track drainage, and would you like to help strengthen the professional expertise across tracks and drainage in a department with exciting railway projects? Then it might be you we are seeking for Track and Civil Engineering at SYSTRA Denmark at the Aarhus office.
Context
A role with responsibility for track drainage, track tasks and a holistic view in railway projects
We are looking for a colleague for our Aarhus office who either already has experience as a technical lead within track drainage or has the ambition and courage to step into the role. You will sit close to our track drainage specialist in a department that works across tracks and civil works from both Aarhus and Copenhagen.
We are looking for a profile with experience in track drainage and with an eye for the most important interfaces in railway projects. In particular, it is important that you have knowledge of the interaction between tracks, soil and drainage, and therefore how the individual disciplines influence each other.
Missions/Main Duties
A daily close to the projects and the technical coordination
In the role you will work with track drainage throughout the project lifecycle, from the early phases and design through execution and follow-up. You will among other things contribute to mapping existing conditions, design and multidisciplinary coordination. At the same time you will play an important role in ensuring that drainage solutions are closely aligned with track design and the other technical disciplines in the project. You will also have tasks within the track area.
You will contribute professionally in tender work, including assessment of tasks, time estimation and description of solutions to the client. Therefore, it is essential that you have both technical depth in track drainage and an understanding of the other disciplines involved in railway projects.
Profile/Skills
We are looking for someone with experience in track drainage and ready to be a technical lead
You have several years of experience with track drainage and preferably experience from design, supervision or execution. Maybe you have already been a technical lead on drainage, or perhaps you have reached a point in your career where you are ready to take the next step and take on that responsibility.
You are educated as an engineer or have another relevant background in civil engineering and infrastructure. In addition, you have an understanding of the other disciplines in railway projects, especially track and soil, and you can navigate the interfaces between the disciplines. We place emphasis on you having a desire to take responsibility, contribute to professional development and help strengthen a growing team.
Salary and employment conditions
You will be employed under the AC collective agreement, and the salary is set based on seniority and qualifications.
