Re-advertisement - SyBA seeks an educator for Skovparken in Ryomgård

There is now a rare opportunity for a position in Denmark's perhaps most cozy housing cooperative.

Skovparken is part of Syddjurs Housing and Activity Offerings (SyBA), which is a unified unit in Syddjurs Municipality with housing and activity services distributed across the municipality. We provide accommodation for adult citizens with significant and lasting reduced functional capacity/intellectual disability.

Skovparken is a residential facility for 16 adults with permanently reduced functional ability, who all live in apartments with their own entrance. These are arranged around a cozy courtyard and lead out to a lovely green area.

We have two large community houses, used for meals, socializing, creative activities, games, gaming, parties and whatever else the residents want. The residents are currently between 21 and 80 years old with an even split of men and women.

Staff offer assistance with understanding finances, accompaniment to the doctor, medication management, handling of mail, shopping and other daily living activities as well as support to structure and oversee daily life, so that the citizens can have the opportunity to take as much responsibility for their own lives as possible.

• You are educated with relevant pedagogical knowledge and experience
• You are passionate about making a difference and creating a good everyday life for the residents at Skovparken
• You contribute with care, presence and professional expertise in your work
• You are open to reflection on your practice
• You can contribute to a teamwork that creates value for the citizens
• You can maintain overview and work in a structured and systematic manner
• You are keen on and have the ability for interdisciplinary teamwork and preferably experience with team collaboration
• You have experience with key worker and action plan work
• Familiarity with and experience of KRAP and neuro-pedagogy would be preferred
• You are prepared for varying hours (7:30-21:00) as well as weekend work every 4th weekend
• You have a driver's license and can use IT at user level

Salary and employment terms

The position is 32 hours per week. Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The position is covered by Ny Løn.
