Scandi Byg is owned by the timber group Nordic Wood Industries, which has brought together a number of leading producers of wood-based building materials. Scandi Byg is among the leaders in climate-friendly construction and can therefore already meet the CO2e limit value in the Building Regulations in 2029 and has constructed several buildings with, among others, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and DGNB.

Scandi Byg employs 100 people distributed across administration, production and the project department. The headquarters and production are located in Løgstør. Here the modules are developed and produced, after which they are transported to the respective construction site in Denmark or abroad. For construction sites on Zealand, they also have an office in Roskilde. The modules are manufactured under a roof, where production follows carefully planned workflows and construction processes that ensure short delivery times, minimal resource consumption and a safe and secure workplace for everyone.

Your tasks

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional who will take responsibility for the accounts payable and other accounting tasks. You will become part of a small, dynamic finance function where people value one another, and where collaboration and a good mood are a natural part of everyday life. You will be a central figure in the organization with daily contact to both managers and employees. You report directly to the company’s Senior Business Controller and will have close collaboration with the rest of a skilled finance team of 4 employees.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Invoice management
• Accounts payable and requisition management
• VAT
• Inventory corrections
• Various reconciliations, bank, creditors, debtors, inventory, etc.
• Debtor management
• Backup for payroll for the company’s hourly-paid employees
• Participation in month-end close and general accounting tasks

A collaborative and detail-oriented colleague

We imagine that you have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience with similar tasks and a solid accounting background. Particularly important is that you have experience with bookkeeping, and if you have experience with NAV2018, MS Office and process optimization, that is an advantage.

You work in a structured, detail-oriented way and can take responsibility for your tasks. Additionally, you thrive in a dynamic environment with varying tasks and can maintain an overview while you push your tasks through to completion. You are good at communicating with different types of people, and you are not afraid to step in and help your colleagues when needed.
