About the job

Specialists in General Practice for Regional Clinic in Nykøbing F.

Do you want time for your patients – and to contribute to developing the practice area?

Region Zealand is seeking specialists in general medicine for the regional clinic at Zealand University Hospital (SUH) in Nykøbing F.

The regional clinic handles regular patient care and focuses on delivering high-quality health services where the need is greatest. Read more about the clinic here.

The ambition is that the clinic, in time, should contribute to strengthening general practice in the Lolland/Falster- and Vordingborg area through quality development, research efforts, education and competency development.

As a doctor in the clinic you will thus be part of a professional environment focused on patient care at the highest level.

About the position

The clinic currently has two doctors, a practice manager (who is also a nurse) and a nurse attached on a permanent basis. But the clinic is growing and the expectation is that the clinic will grow to three full capacities by 2027.

You will be a central part of realizing the ambitions for the Regional Clinic and will – together with your colleagues in the clinic – have a unique opportunity to set the direction for professionalism, operations, organization and collaboration. Here there is a short path from idea to action, and you will have real influence on how everyday work is planned.

The clinic is anchored at SUH in Nykøbing F., and is currently located in temporary premises at the Emergency Department. At the turn of the year the clinic moves to newly renovated premises in the center of Nykøbing Falster (about 500 m from the station). Anchoring, and thus the collaboration with SUH, gives you easy access to professional sparring with the hospital’s specialties and the opportunity to create strong, cohesive patient pathways across sectors.

SUH also expects to open the Regional Clinic in Stubbekøbing (about 20 km northeast of Nykøbing F.) in the first half of 2027. It may include weekly clinic days in Stubbekøbing, but still closely linked to the clinic in Nykøbing Falster.

Your tasks

You handle classic general medical tasks with a focus on patient-centered and evidence-based treatment. At the same time you have the opportunity to contribute to developing new workflows, digital solutions and forms of collaboration that strengthen treatment close to the citizen.

You will become part of an environment where multidisciplinary collaboration, research and quality are in focus.

We offer

You will become part of a modern clinic with good physical facilities, updated equipment and strong digital solutions. There are good opportunities for professional sparring, competence development and continuing education.

We emphasize flexibility and offer employment terms that can be adapted to your needs – both regarding working hours (including a possible part-time arrangement) and scheduling. Working hours are generally during daytime on weekdays.

There is also the possibility of transport with the staff bus as well as accommodation at the staff hotel if needed.

About you

You are a specialist in general medicine and motivated to create value for patients through high professionalism and good relationships. You thrive in a startup and development context where you can both think innovatively and make things happen in practice.

Practical information

Salary and employment terms as a specialist according to the agreement for subordinate doctors between RTLN and YL. We recruit continuously with start as soon as possible.

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Medical Deputy Director, Peder Fabricius, tel. 93576718.

Do you want to join the journey?

Here you get the opportunity to combine high professionalism, influence and balance in work life – in a clinic with great potential and an important task.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Employment area

Region Zealand and the Capital Region will become Region East Denmark on January 1, 2027 as a result of the health reform. Your employment area will be Region East Denmark with all associated organizational units.

In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
