Assembly tasks in Denmark and Europe

Do you have your hands properly on the tools, a technical understanding and a desire for a daily life that alternates between installation of systems at our workshop, exciting installation projects with customers in Denmark and abroad, and occasional service tasks on the delivered systems?

At ReTec Miljø ApS we are looking for a traveling technician who thrives with mechanical assembly, technical challenges and travel activities.

You will be an important piece that installs and occasionally also services special machines and systems for customers in Denmark and Europe.

About ReTec

ReTec develops, manufactures, sells and services specially designed machines and systems for waste treatment, recycling and the biomass industry primarily in Denmark and Europe. We operate from our headquarters in Haderslev, but we benefit from a broad international network, and we are a dealer of several foreign brands.

About the job

As a traveling technician at ReTec, you will have a varied daily life where no project is exactly the same.

You will mainly work with assembly and installation of, among others

• bale openers
• gypsum systems
• pretreatment systems for food waste
• mineral wool systems
• special machines for the recycling industry

You can expect around 100 travel days per year, primarily in Scandinavia, Germany and England, but the whole of Europe will be your workplace. When you are not out with customers, you will work from our workshop in Haderslev, where you participate in assembly preparation, workshop tasks, preparation of upcoming projects and other tasks.

Your tasks will include

• Plan and prepare your assembly tasks
• Perform mechanical assembly and installation of machines and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical challenges at customers
• Participate in workshop work and preparation of equipment
• Contribute to the commissioning of new systems
• Ensure high quality and safety in the work performed and contribute to practical solutions along the way
• Build good relationships and provide professional service to customers
• Collaborate closely with both customers and colleagues to ensure successful projects

About you

You are practically minded and thrive on taking responsibility for your tasks. You are positive by nature and work independently, but can also join a team where people help each other and keep focus on quality and safety. In addition, you are solutions-oriented, reliable, able to maintain an overview and thrive with varying working days.

We imagine that you

• Have experience with assembly or a relevant craft background, for example as a blacksmith, mechanic, industrial technician or similar.
• Have technical understanding and preferably experience in reading and understanding technical drawings.
• Are flexible and willing to travel and stay away for projects.
• Proficient in Danish and English. German language skills are an advantage but not a requirement.
• Have a driving license (category B).
