A relationship-focused pedagogue sought for a 16-year-old girl in Nærum

Do you want to use your pedagogical professionalism in a close relationship, where safety and small steps open up for new experiences? In Nærum we are seeking a pedagogue to support a 16-year-old girl two fixed mornings per week.

About the task

The girl is fond of horses and animals and attends riding therapy. She also enjoys series in English, podcasts about both crime stories and funny topics, as well as creative activities. Her interests can be a starting point for your time together and for planning outings.

She has ADHD, anxiety and is dyslexic. She needs a clear plan so she knows what will happen when you arrive. Concentration can be difficult to sustain, and some activities can feel insecure or hard to get started with.

Your first task is to build a safe relationship. Once you have gotten to know each other, you should support and gently challenge her to try something she otherwise avoids. You plan the activities together, and you help to carry them out.

You will meet in her home and drive her to and from school on some days. Her dog must be able to come along in the car.

About you

You are a trained pedagogue and preferably have experience with ADHD and anxiety.

You can build trust and tailor your support to her daily form, while staying true to the plans you make together. You are clear about what will happen, and can find the balance between giving her time and motivating her to take the next step.

You must have a driver's license and your own car available and be prepared to have the dog in the car. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel in the assignment.

Working hours

The position is 9.5 hours per week with fixed working hours

• Thursday 08:45–13:30
• Friday 08:45–13:30

Salary and pension according to the National Agreement for handicapped assistance in citizens' own homes (minus BPA) entered into between FOA and Dansk Erhverv. You are covered by DUOS’ liability and work-related injury insurance and health insurance is part of your pension scheme.
