About us

Establishment– and Terrain Command delivers and develops the physical premises for the military operational units and the other authorities under the Ministry of Defence. It covers everything from maintenance of buildings and areas, sleeping quarters for the soldiers, desks for offices, meals in the canteens, as well as cleaning.

You will be part of a team of 20 employees, where we place a high emphasis on good cooperation.

About the position

The daily cleaning takes place according to a work plan, but you must also be flexible and can prioritize your own tasks in the daily routine.

Your main tasks will be to

• Carry out professional cleaning in different premises – mainly office cleaning..
• Clean weekly and periodically other areas outside Høvelte Barracks.
• Handle the tasks and the customer’s wishes efficiently and professionally.
• Plan and coordinate the daily cleaning.
• Be visible to your team and to customers.
• Ensure the high quality for the customer you are in daily contact with.
• Perform self-inspection.

About you

We imagine that you are a trained cleaning technician or service assistant, or have relevant equivalent experience.

• You have a basic understanding of IT

It is a requirement that you have a category B driving licence, which must be maintained throughout the entire employment.

Employment terms

The employment is in accordance with the currently applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees’ Organization – The Civil Service Area (OAO-S collective agreement) and the Collective Agreement for cleaners, sanitors, skilled workers and certain vocational graduates etc. in the state, etc. (3F).

Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is a possibility for negotiation of allowances. There is an employer-funded pension scheme attached to the position.

The work place is at Garderkasernen Høvelte, Høveltevej 111 in Birkerød.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to some special conditions. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout the entire employment.

As an employee you are obliged to perform service outside the country, including at units in international operations with the aim of participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peace-enforcing, humanitarian and other similar operations.

Establishment- and Terrain Command (ETK) supports and services military and civilian authorities under the Ministry of Defence. Our task is to deliver and develop attractive physical premises that are necessary for their daily work.

We build new, maintain, operate canteens and clean at duty locations across the country.
