The job You will become part of the production at FKI, where you work with the fabrication of stainless steel components and products for the fast-food industry. This is not a monotonous job doing the same task all day. You get different pieces in your hands and you follow the work through welding and finishing.

TIG welding will be your primary area of work. The material is stainless steel in thicknesses from 1 to 10 mm, but the majority of work takes place in thin sheet 1-2 mm. It places demands on your technique and your ability to deliver a consistent result.

You will be responsible for your own pieces and work closely with colleagues who machine and assemble the other parts. FKI also uses welding robots, so you become part of a production where craft and technology go hand in hand.

The workplace is FKI's factory in Verninge, and the position is full-time.

Your tasks include

• TIG welding of stainless parts in various sizes and shapes.
• Grinding and finishing so that the parts meet the requirements for the finished product.
• Ongoing control of your own work and focus on consistent quality.
• Collaboration on manufacturing and adjustment of components for the further production.
• Contribute your professional experience to ensure good workflows and results.

Your profile You are a trained sheet metal welder and have experience with TIG welding. You know the work with stainless steel and you understand how material thickness, heat and technique influence the final result.

• Have a good grasp of TIG welding, preferably in thin sheet metal.
• Work precisely and have an eye for both welding and finishing.
• Can plan and perform your tasks with responsibility for quality.
• Are willing to collaborate and share your knowledge with colleagues.
• Are eager to develop your competences and learn new methods.

Experience with laser cutting, bending or robot welding is an advantage, but not decisive. The most important is your professionalism and your approach to the work. Welding certificates are not a requirement for employment.

You are professionally engaged and do not compromise on quality just because a task must be done quickly. You take responsibility for your work and take pride in delivering parts you can stand behind.

You work well in a team where people speak directly to each other and help out when needed. You do not need to be the one who talks the most, but you contribute with your experience, a proper approach to work and respect for your colleagues' professionalism.

About FKI Fast Food Teknik A/S FKI Fast Food Teknik A/S develops and manufactures equipment for the fast-food industry. The products range from grilling and cooking equipment to toasters and fryers, used by customers across several markets.

At the factory in Verninge, a large part of the process takes place under one roof. Here the materials are laser-cut, bent, welded and assembled into finished products. FKI has around 30 employees, and the production relies on close cooperation between the different professional areas.
