Sales Assistant – Design & Lighting | Part-time – Spotlight Aarhus

Are you good with people, interested in design and interior decoration – and would you like a part-time job in an inspiring environment with some of the leading brands in design lighting?

Spotlight is seeking a Sales Assistant part-time for our store and showroom in Aarhus.

You will be part of daily customer service and help our customers find the right lamp and the right solution. At the same time you will be part of a team where we help each other with both customers and the practical tasks that keep the store running.

About the job

Your most important task is to warmly welcome our customers.

You should be curious about their needs, eager to advise and help create a good experience – even if the customer may not yet know exactly which lamp or solution they are looking for.

You will of course receive a thorough introduction to our range and to lighting advice. We therefore do not expect you to already be an expert in lighting.

However, you should want customer contact, sales and design – and be curious to learn.

Your tasks

• Receive and assist customers
• Advise and help customers with products and choices of lighting
• Contribute to sales and good customer experiences
• Answer telephone and written customer inquiries
• Ensure that the store and showroom appear welcoming and sales-ready
• Receive and handle goods
• Help with practical tasks in the store
• Cover colleagues during holidays and busy periods

The customer always has priority. Therefore we expect you to naturally set aside the practical task when a customer needs help.

We imagine you

• Have experience with customer service and preferably retail
• Are interested in design, home and interiors
• Are approachable and easy to talk to customers
• Have a desire to sell and advise – not just process
• Are independent, responsible and take initiative
• Have a practical approach and are not afraid to get hands-on
• Are stable and flexible
• Contribute positively to teamwork and the atmosphere in the team
• Speak and write Danish and can communicate with customers in English

If you are studying within fields such as design, architecture, interior design, trade or similar, the job can be particularly relevant – but it is not a requirement.
