In Tænkehatten Børnehus we are looking for a pedagogical assistant for our one toddler group. We are seeking an engaged and playful assistant who wants to be an important part of the children’s everyday life and contribute to a safe, caring and development-oriented learning environment for the youngest children.

The position in the toddler group

As a pedagogical assistant in the toddler group, you will become an important part of a dedicated team that every day creates safe and development-promoting environments for children aged 0-2.10 years.

You will, among other things

• Actively participate in the pedagogical daily life around the children
• Help create presence, care and secure relationships
• Support the children’s well-being, development, learning and formation through play and activities
• Contribute to structure and recognizable routines in everyday life
• Participate in cooperation with parents and help create coherence between home and the institution
• Be a clear, calm and present adult in the children’s everyday life

Salary and employment conditions: Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

In Odense Municipality we work with full-time and life-phase policies. The goal of the full-time policy is to give employees a better livelihood, both during their working life and after retirement, and full-time employment is the starting point. If it is not possible to find hours for a full-time position in one house, the remaining hours are found in another kindergarten in Sanderum-Tingløkke. The municipality also focuses on life phases possibly requiring reduced hours for the individual employee, and the discussion about the employment level begins already at the interview stage.
