Scan Wear is looking for a Textile Design Engineer | Create fit and quality in product development

We have great success in putting the customer at the center, and are continually striving to add value for our customers and our own brands. This strategy has led to busyness and growth, which is why we now seek a Technical Designer.

You will be part of a team where every colleague contributes to lifting the tasks and thus ensuring happy and satisfied customers.

As a Technical Designer you will play a central role in our product development by ensuring the best possible fit and quality.

You will work closely with 2 other Technical Designers in our product technical department and cross-functionally with colleagues in sales, design and procurement around the entire product development.

Your responsibilities

• Preparation, maintenance and adjustment of Tech Packs and measurement charts
• Validation, testing and commenting on styles and samples
• Evaluation and commenting on prototypes, construction and possibly patterns.
• Technical design sparring with design/sales and our purchasing function.

We imagine that you

• Have solid experience from the textile or apparel industry
• Have experience with measurement charts and construction.
• Have a keen eye for fit, proportions and details.
• Can translate your observations into concrete and clear feedback.
• Work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner.
• Thrive on close collaboration across disciplines
• Communicate in Danish and English

The most important for us is your textile expertise and understanding of construction and fit.

Practical information

We are flexible regarding working hours, so it can be either full-time or part-time.

The workplace is located near Haderslev (very close to exit 68).
