Security Advisor

The need for qualified security advice is growing markedly. The threat landscape is changing, regulatory requirements are tightening, and more clients are requesting competent guidance that can understand risk, see the whole picture and translate complex demands into workable and effective solutions.

Therefore we are seeking an experienced security advisor for the head office in Gladsaxe, where you will become part of Risk & Security. A department consisting of 10 specialists with technical, intelligence- and emergency-management backgrounds. You will be part of an ambitious professional environment in one of Denmark's leading consulting engineering firms, where security is considered together with architecture, structures, installations, operation and regulatory requirements – and where your contribution makes a clear difference.

In the role you will hold a central position in advising customers on holistic security solutions. You will be the one who helps make threat pictures, risk assessments and functional requirements concrete – and translate them into strong project proposals, tender materials and designed solutions. You will work across physical, mechanical, electronic and organizational security, including ADK, AIA, TVO, perimeter security, shell and cage security, vehicle-impact protection, protection of critical functions and integration with other technical installations including industry standards and F&P requirements.

You will have a role with both technical depth and great potential to influence development. We imagine you thrive as both advisor, design specialist and commercial sparring partner – and that you want to be involved when new clients, projects and solutions are shaped.

You will work closely with the other specialists who together have extensive experience with risk assessments, high-security construction, confidential projects, insider threats, 2D/3D simulations, explosion and vehicle-impact analyses, TVO coverage, intrusion time and effect analyses of security measures. Together we raise assignments where quality, responsibility and trust are decisive.

Your profile

• You have experience with security consulting, risk assessments and design – and you are motivated by creating solutions that provide real value for clients.
• You have technical understanding of physical, mechanical and electronic security, including ADK, AIA, TVO, perimeter security and shell security.
• You can make complex threat pictures, client needs and regulatory requirements understandable and translate them into proportional, robust and documented security solutions.
• You have experience with project proposals, tender materials, interface coordination, site supervision and quality assurance – and you take pride in high quality.
• You have commercial understanding and a desire to contribute to client dialogue, marketing, bid work and development of new security tasks.
• You work independently, structured and properly – and you thrive in an environment with confidential projects, high professionalism and strong collegial collaboration.

Your primary responsibilities

• You will have the opportunity to:
• Prepare risk assessments, vulnerability analyses and security strategies that form the basis for strong and targeted projects.
• Handle information security in projects.
• Design security solutions from idea phase to detail design, tendering, execution and commissioning.
• Work with technical security disciplines such as ADK, AIA, TVO, perimeter security, vehicle-impact protection, shell and cage security, as well as object security.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, bid work and marketing of Artelia's Risk & Security services.
• Coordinate security with architects, engineers, contractors, authorities and suppliers so that the solutions function as a whole.
• Ensure quality, documentation, compliance and adherence to relevant standards, laws and client-specific requirements.
• Contribute to method development, knowledge sharing and professional sparring across Artelia’s security environment.
