Do you want to be the accounting manager for your own clients while also having the opportunity to shape the build-out of a new team?

We are recruiting on behalf of a client in Herlev for two experienced Senior Consultants with strong accounting skills and a desire to take broad responsibility.

About the role

As a Senior Consultant you will be responsible for your own clients – primarily small businesses – where you function as their "accounting manager". You will have a dedicated team of accountants handling the daily bookkeeping, while you yourself are responsible for:

• Balance, month-end closure and annual closing
• Management reporting and analyses
• General ledger and reconciliations
• Approval of payroll
• Advising clients on financial and business matters

You will become a central part of building a new team of senior professionals, and in time there is an opportunity to take on management responsibility if you wish.

Your profile

We imagine that you have solid experience from a role as a controller, Senior Accountant or Finance Accountant – preferably from a similar function where you have been responsible for period-end closing, reporting and controlling. You are structured, quality-conscious and thrive on taking responsibility for the entire accounting process.
