Senior Manager for BDO Legal, Aalborg

Do you have experience with corporate law, commercial contracts and M&A and a desire to work across disciplines with some of the industry's most skilled specialists? Do you want to be part of a strong legal team in a consultancy with both national foothold and international outlook? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

BDO Legal consists of about 35 lawyers who work closely across disciplines and locations. Although we are spread across nine offices, we have strong collaboration across – which gives you access to sparring and specialist knowledge nationwide.

The everyday at BDO Legal

As part of our Legal department you enter a everyday life where law and business merge in working with complex legal issues and transactions. Here you bring your expertise in corporate law and/or M&A into advising Danish and international companies. It is precisely your legal expertise and commercial understanding that creates value in the advice – both for clients and in collaboration.

Your tasks will span broadly – from corporate law and commercial contracts to restructurings and M&A – and you will naturally move between legal case handling, client dialogue and knowledge development. You will become part of a competent team where you apply and develop your competencies in advising both Danish and international companies.

Collaboration is a natural part of the role. You work closely with colleagues across departments and gain insight into different professional areas and perspectives, bringing new nuances into the advice. Sparring and knowledge sharing is not something that sits beside the work – it is an integral part of the way we create solutions.

You enter a role where your knowledge and judgments help shape the advisory. The role is varied and sometimes fast-paced, where you move between tasks, customers and issues – and continuously develop your competencies in step with the complexity of tasks.

We imagine that you

• Are educated cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur.
• Have a minimum of 5 years' experience with corporate law, commercial contracts and/or M&A – e.g. from a law firm
• Thrives in a cross-disciplinary environment and enjoys collaborating with colleagues from other areas
• Have a structured and solution-oriented approach to tasks
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both Danish and English
• Take responsibility for ensuring that your tasks are followed through
