Senior Marketing Manager

Job Purpose

The Senior Marketing Manager will work independently as well as in collaboration with various stakeholders across ALK and externally. You will be closely involved in decision-making processes and will therefore be able to make a significant contribution to the future success of ALK. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and business activities aimed at maximizing the utilization and profitability of assigned products, while building a positive company image.

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for driving public affairs initiatives to support market development and works to align product managers in order to establish a cohesive, shared strategy.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the development and execution of marketing strategy for ALK products in Slovakia.
• Develop and implement business solutions based on market trends, opportunities, needs, and industry direction.
• Prepare and support marketing activities for the ALK product portfolio.
• Develop specific marketing plans for products or therapeutic areas within the organization.
• Analyze data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with other ALK affiliates, the global marketing team, and regional marketing and sales organizations.
• Relationship management: build and maintain trusted relationships with leading physicians, medical directors, and key customers.
• Identify opportunities for new product indications through discussions with leading institutions (societies, healthcare providers) and by establishing advisory boards.
• Manage the budget for the therapeutic area.
• Ensure that product positioning and development align with market needs.
• Organize, execute, and deliver all assigned activities as well as own initiatives supporting the achievement of company goals in Slovakia.
• Mentoring less experienced colleagues.
• Initiating and supporting allergy awareness and educational initiatives targeting healthcare professionals and/or the public.
• Training and support of the sales team to ensure effective product communication.
• Bringing new ideas to improve customer engagement and marketing effectiveness.
• Supporting innovation in disease awareness communication and patient education.
• Exploring and implementing new digital and omnichannel approaches.
• Using data and insights to optimize campaigns and activities.

Qualifications

• University degree.
• Marketing experience of at least 5 years.
• Experience with communication via digital tools directly to the general public & PA activities is a plus.

• Fluent English (minimum B2).
