Senior Project Engineer for design of solutions for biogas plants

Bigadan is seeking a project engineer who can translate ideas and requirements into concrete plant solutions. You will be part of the development of our plants and technologies, where we focus on high operational reliability, efficient resource utilization and robust technical solutions.

About the job

As a senior project engineer you will be responsible for designing and documenting new solutions for Bigadan's biogas plants. Your deliverables include, among other things, process diagrams, specifications, control descriptions, risk assessments, manuals and operating instructions. You ensure that the solutions meet applicable requirements and are documented at a level that supports engineering, installation and operation. The tasks are carried out in close collaboration with colleagues on the projects, and you follow your deliverables from clarification to completion.

Your tasks will include

• Design solutions supported by necessary calculations and develop diagrams for, among others, biomass, heating, gas and ventilation systems
• Prepare bill of materials and control descriptions
• Prepare risk assessments
• Write operating instructions and manuals
• Collect, quality-assure and structure technical documentation

The workplace is at the head office in Skanderborg.

Profile

We are looking for a colleague who has a technical education or equivalent experience in process, mechanical, energy or plant engineering. You work systematically, take responsibility for your deliverables and follow tasks through to completion in close collaboration with the project team.

Experience and insight in one or more of the following areas are an asset

• EU Machinery Directive
• ATEX Directive
• PED Directive
• SEVESO Directive and risk companies

Every day we convert livestock manure, food waste and other organic residual products into products of value for the energy, agriculture and industrial sectors. It contributes to supply security, ensures better use of resources and recycles nutrients back to the soil.
