About the job

Service Assistant for the Operating Room (OP 2) Do you have an eye for what it takes to make a busy day run smoothly? Are you service-minded, flexible and good at taking action where help is needed? Then it may be you we are looking for!

At OP 2 we are looking for an engaged and service-minded service assistant who wants to become an important part of our daily life.

We are a busy operating room with skilled and engaged operating room nurses, where no two days are the same. We work closely together, help each other and have high professionalism and good humor in everyday life.

We offer you

  • A permanent position of 37 hours per week with working hours on weekdays from 7.00/7.30–15.00. There is an option for fewer hours by agreement.
  • An exciting and varied workday where you play a central role in ensuring the daily operations of the operating room function.
  • Skilled and engaged colleagues who are ready with advice, sparring and guidance.
  • A good work environment where, despite a busy day, we have high ceilings and room for humor.
  • A strong team spirit in the staff group and opportunities to participate in social events.
  • A thorough introduction to the position and our workflows.
  • A workplace where there is focus on delegation, responsibility and a good working environment.

What will your role be? As a service assistant in the operating room you will have an important function in the daily support of both the clinic and the operations.

You will work closely with patients and in close cooperation with the rest of the staff in the operating room. Your effort helps create a well-functioning daily life where the clinical staff can concentrate on their core tasks.

We need you who sees what is missing and takes initiative.

You should have an eye for tasks that can easily be overlooked or deprioritized in a busy day, and you should be keen to lend a hand when new needs arise.

Your tasks will include among others

  • Clinical related service tasks
  • Cleaning tasks
  • Handling of goods and utensils
  • Logistical tasks
  • Contact with suppliers
  • Practical tasks that continually arise in the operating room

Tasks may vary from day to day, and it is therefore important that you thrive in a daily life where you must adapt, prioritize and keep an overview.

Who are you? We imagine that you

  • Can work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks
  • Are service-minded, flexible and helpful
  • Are adaptable and good at finding solutions
  • Have an eye for what needs to be done – also when it is not said out loud
  • Are good at creating an overview, prioritizing and organizing your tasks
  • Have good collaboration and communication skills
  • Work systematically and structured
  • Have a positive attitude and contribute to a good working environment

It is an advantage if you have experience with logistics, working in a hospital or other healthcare experience, but it is not a requirement.

You must have IT skills at user level.

As a service assistant you are also expected to work in accordance with the hospital's values: results, integrity, collaboration and excellence.

An important part of the team For us you become part of a workplace where we pull together.

We expect you to take responsibility and contribute when you can see that it is needed – and in return you will have colleagues who do the same.

We emphasize that we do our best for each other, for the operations and not least for the patients.

If you can see yourself in a varied daily life where you both work independently and closely with many different professional groups, we would very much like to hear from you.

A job description can be requested.
