For our service workshop in Hvide Sande, we are looking for a colleague with a background as an electrician, automation technician or equivalent experience with electrical and control systems.

You don’t need to be familiar with electric boilers beforehand. You come with your basic technical knowledge and a willingness to learn – we provide thorough training in the boilers’ construction, control and operation.

A job with electricity, control and practical problem solving

At AS SCAN we work with service and repair of electric boilers that are in daily operation for Danish customers. Your task will be to help ensure that the plants run safely and stably.

You will have a varied day-to-day with tasks at the workshop in Hvide Sande and at customer sites. As you become familiar with the plants, you will, among other things, work with:

• Setting and adjusting the boilers’ control and operating parameters
• Troubleshooting electrical components and controls
• Service, repair and replacement of components
• Review, preparation and testing of the boilers’ function
• Dialogue with customers about the plants’ operation and service

You will be trained by experienced colleagues and gradually take on more responsibility. We help each other, and you will have someone to spar with when a task requires an extra pair of eyes.

You have the foundation – we build the specialty on top

You may be trained as an electrician or automation technician, or you have gained relevant experience with electrical systems, control or industrial automation through your work.

The most important thing is that you have a good understanding of electrical installations and a desire to learn how control and settings affect the boilers’ operation. You may be a recent graduate or have several years of experience.

We place emphasis on

• Knowledge of electrical diagrams and methodical fault finding
• Curiosity about technology and motivation to learn our installations
• Enjoy practical tasks and take responsibility for the quality of your work
• Focus on safety and work in a structured manner
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and meet customers in a welcoming way
