You will land in a larger metalworking production, where the tasks range from constructions and specialty items in the workshop to on-site installation at customers. Work is done with steel, stainless steel and aluminum, and the parts can come from drawings, 3D files or a simple sketch. It is a place with the capacity for pre-processing, machining and final assembly, so you see more than just one small part of the task.

You get a role where your hands are both in production and on-site assembly. You must be able to take responsibility for measurements, fitting and assembly, and a driver's license is required because there is also fieldwork with customers. When something doesn’t add up, it’s better to speak up immediately than to hand in something half-done.

Your everyday

You work from drawings, files or sketches, and you are involved in the practical choices when you measure, process and assemble the item. Some tasks are finished in the workshop, while others continue as installation or service at the customer’s site.

You will, among other things, work with

• Pre-process and machine steel, stainless and aluminum
• Fabricate and assemble constructions according to drawing or sketch
• Install constructions and specialty items at customers’ sites
• Adjust stairs, railings, platforms and building constructions
• Perform repairs, service and maintenance on planned and urgent tasks

Here it is important that things are in order before they leave the workshop. If a drawing, a measurement or an assembly doesn’t make sense, you speak up and have it corrected before the next step.

We are looking for someone who can tick most boxes

You don’t need to be an expert in every corner of the trade. But you must be able to stand behind what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have at least 3 years of experience as a blacksmith/metalworker
• Have a driver’s license
• Can read drawings, files or sketches
• Can work with pre-processing, assembly and installation
• Show up reliably and speak up if something doesn’t add up

It’s an advantage if you’ve tried both workshop and installation before. But the most important thing is that you can take on tasks and deliver something that lasts.
