Do you want to be an important part of the multidisciplinary team and use your professional expertise to create good patient pathways?
Orthopedic Surgery Department O at OUH Odense is looking for a social- and health care assistant who wants to become part of a strong professional and collegial community.

You will become an important part of the multidisciplinary team around the patient, where your professional knowledge and your observations are a significant part of the overall effort.
We are looking for you who are professionally curious, engaged and want to make a difference for patients . You thrive on working closely with other professional groups, but can also work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks.
A broad and exciting specialty With us you will encounter a broad orthopedic patient field – from the acute trauma patient to the planned hip- and knee-care pathway and from patients with complex wounds, infections and amputations.
Our subspecialties include, among others
- Trauma and hand patients
- Planned hip and knee patients
- Infection, wound and amputation patients

As a social- and health care assistant you are a vital part of the team around the patient . You contribute with your professional knowledge and your observations and help plan, coordinate and carry out care and rehabilitative efforts together with the patient, their relatives and the other professional groups.
We emphasize actively using each other’s professional competencies, and that there is room for both independence and professional sparring.
The rehabilitative effort is planned and coordinated in close cooperation with the patient and the relatives, and therefore it is important to us that you thrive working team-oriented and with the patient at the center .
We emphasize a good mono- and interprofessional collegiality, where we help each other, share knowledge and give space to both professional sparring and development.
Our culture is characterized by openness, dialogue, trust and acknowledgment , and we see a good working environment as a shared responsibility. We continuously work with “the good employee relations,” because we believe that well-being and quality go hand in hand.

Your competence development is supported by My Skills , in close collaboration with your daily supervisor and our clinical nursing specialists.
