Carelink Pleje is looking for you who want to start – or are already starting – the education as a social and health care assistant. The education alternates between school and practical training. The school periods take place at the nearest Social and Health School in Central and West Jutland. There is also an opportunity to take part of the education/practice abroad via an attached workplace (contact us for more information and links).

What does an apprentice position involve?

You will have a practical training program that covers all training objectives for the SOSU helper education:

• You will be assigned a mentor and receive ongoing advice, sparring and feedback
• You will receive thorough training and work alongside a skilled employee in practice
• You will learn to perform personal care and support at a professionally high level
• You will practice being curious and observant of the citizen's needs and resources
• You will gain knowledge about rehabilitative interventions
• You will experience an organisation with short pathways between management and employees
• You will become part of a good community with competent colleagues

Our expectations of you

• You are reliable, well-groomed, friendly and approachable towards citizens and colleagues
• You reach the training program's goals under guidance and actively participate in the community
• You take responsibility for your own learning and share knowledge with colleagues
• You speak, read and understand Danish at a moderately high level
• You have a driving licence (B) and a clean criminal record.

Practical information

• Apprentice position at 37 hours per week
• Duration of the education: Basic course 20 weeks + SOSU helper education 14 months
• Wage during training (training agreement)
• Weekend and evening work may vary during the training
• Ongoing start – Carelink Pleje follows the schools' school/training programs
• Possibility to start as substitute/unskilled before the start of the education
