We offer

• There is a guaranteed apprenticeship placement throughout the entire training (you do not have to apply for this yourself).
• Focus on well-being during the education and the learning environment.
• That you are assigned a daily supervisor when you are in training. The daily supervisor will accompany you in your daily work when you are in training.
• That you are also assigned an educational supervisor, with whom you collaborate during your training. The educational supervisor will coordinate your progression when you are in training, and meet you for individual guidance conversations.

We expect

SOSU-education is both exciting and demanding – both theoretically and practically.

Therefore it is important that you are ready to learn and take your education seriously, both at school and in training.

We expect that you have the personal and social competencies needed to work with people – especially in health and care.

It is not a requirement for admission that you have e.g. a driving license or car, but it is a prerequisite that you can get to and from the training or school by other means.

That you are willing to start training at 7 a.m. during the training period, including weekends. You can expect to work on weekends in accordance with FOA’s agreement for apprentices.

In addition you must of course

• Be interested in working with people and learning new things.
• Have good collaboration skills, as you will meet many different people throughout your education.
• Be flexible and reliable in attendance.
• Be physically and mentally robust.

Admission requirements

• Have achieved grade 02 in Danish and Mathematics from primary school (with documentation).
• A gymnasium diploma, a passed PAU basic course or a certificate for the full PAU education also provides access to the program (with documentation).
• That you hold a valid work and residence permit if you are not a Danish citizen (with documentation).
• A satisfactory criminal record which will be obtained in connection with potential employment.

Employment terms

Salary

You will be employed for 37 hours per week, and you will receive an apprentice wage throughout the training in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and FOA – Fag og Arbejde.

As a rule you will be paid the standard apprentice wage. If you are 25 years or older, you will be paid as an adult apprentice in Guldborgsund Municipality.

The training alternates between apprenticeship and school. Guldborgsund Municipality cooperates and exchanges relevant information with SOSU school Nykøbing F.

If you should receive a rejection of your application for an apprentice position, Guldborgsund Municipality is obliged to register the rejection – including your CPR number. The information is registered on Praktikpladsen.dk and transferred to the Data Warehouse in the Agency for IT and Learning. The information is collected solely for statistical purposes. The registered information is not visible to you or the public. The collection of these data is done under §58 of the Regulation on Vocational Education.
