10 social and health care assistant trainees with start on February 22, 2027.

Would you like to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, so you could be one of the learners we are seeking for a paid education that takes about 46 months and alternates between school and internship.

The people you will meet in your work can be young, old, ill, citizens with psychiatric disorders or disabled people who need professional care and support.

You are part of an interdisciplinary team where work is rehabilitative, health-promoting and preventive.

In Kerteminde Municipality there are social and health care assistants employed in nursing homes, in home care and at special institutions.

The first training internship will always be at one of our four nursing homes, where you have close contact with a training supervisor and qualified colleagues.

We expect that you

• Show interest and initiative to learn and want to develop yourself as a professional
• Are good at collaborating and take responsibility
• Are good at communicating in writing and verbally
• Are reliable in terms of attendance
• Can cycle

Admission requirements

As a rule, you must have completed Grundforløb 2 (GF2) aimed at the SSA education.

If you are applying for employment from the Grundforløb, this must be stated in the application.

Such employment requires that you are enrolled/ or have applied for enrollment in the Grundforløb.

Admission to a Grundforløb takes place via https://www.optagelse.dk/ .

There is the possibility to apply with other relevant educations e.g. SSH.

This means that you must send a request to Social- og Sundhedsskolen Fyn to have a real competence assessment/education plan prepared, which must be sent together with your application.

We continually seek learners for Grundforløb 2 - the SSA education. See the municipality's website if desired.

Salary and terms of employment

Collective agreement between KL and FOA.

First year: 15,822 kroner.

Second year: 18,026 kroner.

Adult learners

• You are at least 25 years old when you start your education and have one year of relevant employment within the last four years. You must document yourself that you have one year of relevant employment before the apprentice contract is entered into. Adult apprentice salary corresponding to 25,509 kroner per month.

Working hours are 37 hours per week with shifting start times.

The most common start time is 07:00.

Adult apprenticeship wage

Additionally, there is a possibility to be employed on adult apprenticeship wage if you are:

• A recipient of unemployment benefits, cash benefits, or education assistance
• Integration benefit recipient
• You are unskilled with more than 2 months of prior unemployment
• You have an outdated qualification as a skilled worker

In Kerteminde Municipality, learners are admitted based on a total assessment of your application, your CV and the accompanying documentation.

Criminal record

In connection with employment, a public criminal record will be obtained.

Probation

The first 3 months of your training are regarded as probation.

That means the probation applies until you have been in training for 3 months.
