We are looking for a social- and health care helper for day shift at Tulipanhuset.

Who are we?

Tulipanhuset is part of Rosenlund Care Housing. We are a care center where everyday life consists of much more than the daily care tasks. Here there is room for community, activities, traditions, music and creative ideas.

We work with a contact person scheme, where you take on a special responsibility for the residents you are a contact person for. You get to know them well, follow up on their care and welfare and play an important role in the collaboration with their relatives. This means that you must have an eye for the agreements that have been made, and be involved in ensuring that what is important in the resident's daily life is followed up.

We greatly value our traditions and make an effort to come together. We arrange, among other things, garden days, Christmas lunch and Easter lunch, where the relatives also participate. These are events that create good experiences and give a sense of community across residents, families and staff.

Music also fills a large part of our work. We have two music therapists at Rosenlund who help create musical experiences and activities. We are creative, get ideas and are happy to try new things when we see opportunities in them.

An important part of our work is also being there when life approaches its end. We take the last time seriously and see it as one of our finest tasks to ensure that the resident receives a dignified and caring end to life, and that relatives are met and supported in a difficult time. This requires presence, care and courage to be in what is difficult.

Your responsibilities will include

• To help residents with personal care, bathing, dressing, medication administration and other daily care.
• To support residents in managing as much as possible themselves and help with what they can no longer do.
• To be a contact person for selected residents and follow up on their care, agreements and well-being.
• To have a good and ongoing dialogue with the residents' relatives.
• To be attentive to changes in residents' condition and pass relevant observations on to colleagues.
• To assist with meals and the practical tasks that belong to daily life.
• To document relevant observations and performed tasks.
• To participate in activities, traditions and common events.

About Rosenlund Care Housing

Rosenlund Care Housing consists of 140 apartments distributed across five units with different target groups. Here live people with somatic care needs, dementia and younger residents with psychological and social challenges.

Rosenlund is a music care center, where music is a natural part of everyday life. We have three music therapists employed who work with music as part of the residents' everyday life.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours. If a full-time position is not right for you, we are happy to discuss another number of hours.

Employment is under the applicable collective agreement and the principles of Ny Løn (New Pay).
