Social work professional for §82b program in Frederiksberg Municipality

Do you want to help make a difference for citizens in vulnerable positions – and work with recovery-oriented rehabilitation in practice?

The Social Department of Frederiksberg Municipality is seeking a committed and professionally strong employee for a temporary two-year position for the SEL §82b pathway in the adult sector at 37 hours.

About the position

As a social work professional you will be part of a professional community where we work purposefully to support citizens experiencing mental vulnerability, substance use issues or other social vulnerability.

The initiative is based on Section 82b of the Social Service Act , where we offer shorter, preventive and motivating pathways with a focus on strengthening citizens’ coping, networks and quality of life.

You will join a multidisciplinary team where we work from a recovery-oriented rehabilitation approach and with LA2 (Low Arousal 2.0) as our pedagogical core method. This means that the relationship, the citizen’s own goals and cross-sector collaboration are at the center.

Your tasks

• Implement and coordinate §82b pathways in close collaboration with the citizens
• Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external actors
• Actively participate in the development of the initiative and the method work in the team
• Work relationship-building, motivating and with a focus on the citizen's resources
• Collaboration with civil society, voluntary organizations, etc.
• Initiate a clarifying process regarding a possible other intervention

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant social-work education – e.g., social worker or social educator or equivalent
• Has experience with citizens in vulnerable positions
• Thrives in a daily life with independence, responsibility and cooperation
• Works in an appreciative manner and can create safe and trusting relationships
• Is curious about developing practice and contributing to a positive work environment

Terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are determined according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of Ny Løn .
