About the job
Are you ready to become part of a team where high professional standards, strong collegiality, and freedom with responsibility go hand in hand?
It is not often that we advertise a position in Team KLS.
In fact, it happens so rarely that it is almost an event in itself. But after many years of loyal service, our colleague Bente has chosen to retire on early pension and at the same time our colleague Janni - who has been with us since her internship in the social work studies - has been headhunted, and we are therefore now looking for two new colleagues for our team.
We are seeking social workers or social instructors for permanent positions of 37 hours per week.
The positions are to be filled by 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
About us
We are anchored in the Children and Family Department in Job and Social.
We work under the headline A sustainable children’s and family area , where collaboration on the well-being and everyday life of children and young people with special needs is a socially binding priority.
The Special Group is a house full of life. Here all ages are represented, the professionalism is high, and we share a common passion for creating positive changes for children, young people and their families.
We are about 61 employees consisting of social workers, student assistants, interns, therapists, assistants, office apprentices, department heads and our manager, Lars.
Team KLS works with disability-compensating services for children and young people with significant and lasting physical or psychological disabilities or intrusive chronic or long-term illness aged 0-18 years.
The position differs significantly from a traditional authority position in a family group. The emphasis of the task lies in the disability-compensating area, where especially granting and follow-up on lost earning capacity constitutes a central part of the work area. The work involves extensive administrative case processing, professional assessments, decisions, follow-ups and documentation under the Children’s Act.
At the same time you work closely with the municipality’s family groups on the involvement of children and young people, action plans in connection with follow-up on school absence and the overall effort around the family.
We are a team with high professionalism, great helpfulness and strong collegiality. We consult a lot with each other, share our knowledge and lift together when cases call for multiple perspectives. There is rarely a long way to a good piece of advice, a helping hand or a colleague who just pokes their head in the door to hear how it’s going.
At the same time, we are probably one of the teams in the house where there is the most laughter. We take our work seriously, but rarely ourselves. It doesn’t mean that the tasks are easy. On the contrary. But we believe that humor, fellowship, and good collegiality make us better equipped to solve them.
Many of us have been here for many years. We are proud of that. When a position finally becomes available in Team KLS, it is more often due to retirement or early pension than major turnover. Bente is a good example, and now we hope to find the right colleagues to take over after Bente and Janni.
