Can you unite the business around one plan and create direction across the value chain?

Danpo Home Market is establishing a unified S&OP function and is seeking an experienced S&OP Director who can create coherence between sales, production, supply chain and finance.

You will be a central part of the management team with responsibility for uniting the business around a common, forward-looking decision basis and translating data into clear priorities and actions.

As S&OP Director you will have overall responsibility for S&OP, planning, procurement and logistics as well as leading a function with 14 employees. You will build the new function, develop processes and organization and establish a strong decision rhythm that supports Danpo Home Market as one single business.

You create direction between strategy and operations

You will have the mandate to establish and mature a robust, cross-functional S&OP process that creates balance between demand, raw materials, production capacity, inventory, customer commitments and profitability.

You must establish one common planning basis and ensure that decisions are made, anchored and followed through. At the same time you will develop managers and specialists and strengthen a culture with clear responsibility and consistent follow-up.

You will have management responsibility for a combined function with 14 employees, including a Planning & Logistics Manager and a Head of S&OP. The organization includes procurement and logistics, planning and demand planning.

Your main areas of responsibility

· Set goals and clear priorities for S&OP, planning, procurement and logistics.

· Establish governance, decision forums and a fixed S&OP cadence with clear responsibility and follow-up.

· Ensure a forward-looking balance between demand, production capacity, raw material availability, inventory and delivery service.

· Develop and monitor KPIs including forecast accuracy, delivery service, inventory, execution rate and declassification.

· Create joint ownership between sales, marketing, production, finance and supply chain.

· Drive the transition from order-based to more forecast-driven planning.

· Anchor M3 and Relex as the joint operational starting point and reduce parallel spreadsheets and manual processes.

· Lead and develop the function's leaders and specialists with clear expectations, empowerment and ongoing feedback.

· Drive the development of data, automation and AI-assisted planning where it creates real business value.

Danpo Home Market is established as an independent organization, and the S&OP function will play a central role in tying the business together. Planning must be more forecast-driven, M3 and Relex must be the joint operational starting point, and complexity, overproduction and declassification must be reduced through clear principles and consistent prioritization.

Who are you?

You have proven experience in driving S&OP or an integrated supply chain function in a manufacturing company, preferably within FMCG or food. You have worked with the entire S&OP cycle – from demand reviews and supply planning to delivery to the customer – and understand both the commercial and operational implications of the decisions made.

· You have strong experience with forecasting as well as ERP and BI systems – preferably Relex and M3 or similar.

· You understand the balance between delivery service, production capacity, inventory binding, waste and profitability.

· You have solid experience in people leadership and in developing both leaders and specialists.

· You demonstrate impact and drive changes through people – even when stakeholders do not report directly to you.

· You translate strategy into a few clear goals, make data-driven decisions and follow up consistently.

· You communicate clearly and pragmatically and create calm and forward momentum in complex situations.

· You think in the entire value chain and prioritise the overall business over local considerations.

You have a strong systems understanding and can anchor common processes and ways of working. We are looking for a modern S&OP leader who facilitates real decision-making, creates clear ownership and translates data into action. You are also curious about new knowledge, methods and technologies and can translate them into concrete improvements.
