General workers for the collection of recyclable waste, Waste & Recycling

We are looking for two skilled laborers with a Category C driving license

You will drive our collection trucks and collect recyclable waste from residents. The positions belong at our recycling center, where you become part of Waste & Recycling, which also includes administration, recycling sites, the dump and the recycling shop.

We are looking for you who are positive, take responsibility and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You thrive being able to work independently, but are also ready to help across tasks and areas when needed.

You will become part of an organization in development

On January 1, 2027, Waste & Recycling will become part of the new company Fredericia Forsyning together with Fredericia Spildevand & Energi and the newly established Teknisk Vand.

At the same time we will prepare the transition from recycling bags to waste containers at households. The transition is expected to take place in spring 2028 and means that we need to organize the collection in a new way. You will play an important role in that development.

Your duties

• Drive a truck and collect recyclable waste from households.
• Ensure the truck is clean and roadworthy.
• Assist with various tasks at the recycling center.
• Fill in at the recycling site as needed.

What we expect from you

• Category C driving license (C)
• Speaks and understands Danish.
• Thrive with physical work and being out in all weather.

• Takes responsibility, works independently and ready to help where there is a need

It is an advantage if you have experience with truck driving and have a forklift certificate, but it is not a requirement.

Salary and employment conditions

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

Two positions at 37 hours per week.

Start as soon as possible.

A criminal record check will be obtained upon hire. The employment is conditional on the criminal record being without notes of significance for performing the specific position
