Specialist in processes and operational development

The cyber threat is serious, and Denmark is hit by cyber attacks daily. In the Danish Agency for National Security (SAMSIK) we work to ensure a strong defense against the threat. Therefore we are seeking new colleagues who will contribute to the effort to build strong and effective processes for the agency's total cyber effort, including incident management, monitoring, analysis and communication.

Day-to-day life with us

The Danish Agency for Societal Security (SAMSIK) is building a new operational cyber capacity. An important part of this development is the creation of coherent, well-documented and effective processes that support daily operations, incident handling and cross-organizational and external collaboration.

We are seeking a specialist who will play a central role in developing, describing and further developing the processes in the operational cyber capacity.

You will help develop the operational cyber organization's workflows and operating model, ensure that the processes meet international standards such as ISO 27001 and SIM3, and translate them into concrete workflows supported by the organization's digital platforms.

You will become a central driver in the development of a modern and process-supported cyber organization, where processes, technology and the organization work closely together.

You will have the opportunity to help establish processes and working methods from the ground up and influence how Denmark's future national cyber capacity will operate.

The position is organizationally placed in the Office for Implementation and Knowledge Sharing, but you will work closely with all offices in the operational cyber organization.

The area of responsibility includes that

• Develop, maintain and optimize the operational cyber organization's processes and SOPs across offices.
• Contribute to the development and anchoring of the overall operating model.
• Ensure that processes and workflows support the requirements of ISO 27001, SIM3 and other relevant standards and are continuously optimized.
• Translate processes into digital workflows and ensure they are implemented and supported in the organization’s digital platforms.
• Drive continuous improvements through process development, standardization and capability development.
• Collaborate closely with the operational offices on developing workflows within incident management, monitoring and analysis.
• Contribute to audits, documentation and further development of the organization’s quality management.

About you

We are looking for a person who is motivated by creating structure in complex organizations.

• Has experience with process development or process optimization.
• Can translate complex workflows into practical and usable processes.
• Has experience with quality management or governance.
• Has knowledge of ISO 27001, SIM3 or equivalent standards.
• Has experience with process support in digital systems.
• Works independently in a systematic and analytical manner.
• Thrives in cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Can independently drive projects and convey status to management, etc.

About the office

The Office for Implementation and Knowledge Sharing is being established in SAMSIK and is responsible for supporting the implementation of the operational cyber organization and the organization's collaboration and knowledge-sharing platforms.

The office, in addition to being responsible for the implementation of the operational cyber organization, is also the business owner for the platforms that support secure information sharing and collaboration across the cyber domain.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for state employees. Placement depends on qualifications and experience.

The employment area is the Ministry of Civil Security and Preparedness. The workplace will be at Holsteinsgade 63, 2100 Copenhagen Ø.

It is a prerequisite for employment that you can be security cleared to the classification level SECRET and can maintain the security clearance throughout your employment.
