Specialist, Technical Support III

Are you proud of what you did today? Our Technical Support Specialists are! To further strengthen JBT Marel’s Poultry Secondary Fresh service organization, we are looking forward to meeting you as our new Technical Support Specialist - Portioning. In this role you provide technical support and expertise to customers, our regional Technical Support teams and Field Service teams. You will be the reference for all technical/technological questions in your field of expertise.

You will build and maintain relations/connections with specialists and in- and external stakeholders. You will ensure that cases are handled in a timely manner and are able to fulfil and manage our customer’s expectations. You ensure a clear and accurate exchange of technical information between commercial and technical departments.

What You'll Be Doing

· Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Portioning equipment and solutions.

· Act as the technical reference point for Portioning-related mechanical, electrical, software, and application questions.

· Resolve technical cases remotely, coordinate quality Issues and escalations when required.

· Support commissioning, upgrades, field tests, and new product introductions.

· Facilitate communication between customers, Field Service, Product Management, Innovation, and Engineering teams.

· Analyze machine performance and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

· Create and maintain Service Infos, Service Letters, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.

· Monitor field feedback and support continuous product improvement activities.

· Deliver technical training and support knowledge development across regions.

· Participate in prototype validation, pilot installations, and product lifecycle activities.

· Identify upgrade and service improvement opportunities for customers.

· Maintain accurate equipment and installed base information.

What Kind of a Person Are You?

· Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalent experience.

· Strong knowledge of Portioning systems, vision technology, automation, motion control, and food processing equipment.

· Experience in technical support, field service, commissioning, or industrial troubleshooting.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

· Fluent in English, written and spoken.

· Willingness to travel occasionally for customer support and field activities.

· Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
