Social-work professionals and pedagogical specialists in autism and developmental disabilities sought for Carelink Shielded Housing

Would you like to help create good conditions for children, youths and adults with challenges who need a special residential care facility? Can you see yourself in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and in an organization that values professionalism highly? Then you are the one we are seeking.

Who are we?

Carelink Shielded Housing is part of Carelink Group, which is Denmark's largest private welfare conglomerate and which delivers services across health, employment, the social sector and elder care.

We work in the Carelink Group from the belief that every person has value and resources, but that the approach to this is individual. Our set of values is:

· We have respect for one another and the task

· We find solutions

· We do it properly

Carelink Shielded Housing consists of 3 departments, where the target group is children, young people and adults with needs for a specially arranged residential service in accordance with the Children's Act §43 or the Social Services Act §107 and §108.

The target group for each department is characterized by a number of challenges that require a special effort, and where the individual receives 1:1 or 2:1 support. The support is provided by social-work and pedagogical staff with specialized knowledge within the specific area.

The departments have the following target groups

· Crime and substance abuse

· Autism and developmental disability

· Psychiatry and self-harm

About the job

We are seeking a number of employees with a solid background and experience with the target group within Autism and developmental disability. Your background is pedagogical and/or health-science, and preferably with knowledge of pedagogical approaches and methods such as Low Arousal and neuro- and autism-pedagogy. You must thrive in the close relational work with the citizens and at the same time take pride in supporting the citizen's development at a high professional level and in close collaboration with your colleagues.

One is employed as part of a team in the department and works together with colleagues based on the department's methodological approaches and anchored in the individual citizen's special needs. You report in daily practice to a department manager.

There are primarily around-the-clock shifts, and you spend the shift either alone or with a colleague, depending on the task's complexity. The role includes day, evening and night hours and

is planned for both weekdays and weekends. The appointment corresponds to 160.33 hours, equivalent to a full-time position.

These are tasks where you must be professionally well-equipped for the task, be naturally curious about your own and others' professionalism and be able to translate development goals into practical pedagogical measures that support the citizen's development.

You must be able to thrive in a daily life that can be both changeable and require you to take responsibility and action on the challenges that arise, but also be able to assess when you should reach out for sparring and help from a colleague or supervisor.

We expect from you

· That you have knowledge of and experience with working with socially vulnerable children, youths and adults - and their families/networks.

· That you have a relevant pedagogical or health-science education and relevant experience with the target group.

· That you can work independently, be proactive, and that you can plan your own time, with follow-up and completion of the things you start.

· That you can see yourself joining a team where things move fast and where we lift in unity.

· That you are flexible and responsible – and possess a high degree of tolerance and patience as well as the ability to maintain an overview in conflict-filled situations.

· That you possess a strong commitment, are flexible and responsible while at the same time you are passionate about making a difference for children, youths and adults with diverse challenges.

· That you think holistically and can engage in both internal and external collaborative relationships.

· That you can approach your tasks systematically and structured.

· That you are good at observing and documenting your work on a professionally well-founded basis

· That you have a clean criminal record and a child-safeguarding attestation.

· That you have a driver's license and your own car

We offer

· An organization in continuous development that places high value on professionalism and integrity.

· A workplace with good colleagues at all levels, characterized by a high professional level, strong commitment and ambitions.

· Opportunity to become part of a professional community where there is also professional supervision and competency development.

· A daily life that is never the same.

· Meaningful work where every day we help ensure the best possible conditions for the residents we are responsible for.
