Special educational consultants for project positions at Roskilde PPR

PPR is seeking two special pedagogical consultants for fixed-term project positions at 37 hours per week in the period from 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2030.

About the position: We are seeking a special pedagogical consultant who can

• Support inclusive learning environments through intensive action-learning programs of 4-6 months’ duration in public schools and collaborate with management and pedagogical staff.
• Enhance the competencies of pedagogical staff so they are better equipped to meet more students’ well-being and learning needs in the general communities.
• Contribute to development and rethinking of ways for PPR’s guidance to public schools in the future.
• Advise teachers and pedagogues in general and special educational contexts and be good at translating special pedagogical knowledge and methods into concrete and usable practice
• Lead and create followership in change processes while being listening and exploratory regarding experiences and perspectives from children, parents, teachers and pedagogues
• Be continuously curious about and work with your own function and position as a consultant
• See the potential in participation opportunities in the schools’ learning communities

Who are we: PPR Roskilde is a multidisciplinary department that advises and guides on the development of children and youths from 0 - 18 years. We focus on creating development opportunities for children and young people in collaboration with parents and with the municipality’s schools and day care facilities. The goal is through early and coordinated efforts to support children’s and youths’ opportunities to develop and thrive in their communities.

Our organization comprises speech and hearing consultants, psychologists, special pedagogical advisers, special pedagogical consultants, an administration and a leadership team. We are a large organization with about 80 employees. The professional level is high and the desire for interdisciplinary collaboration is strong. We are committed to creating good opportunities to learn together and to strengthen an investigative and curious culture.

In Roskilde, PPR is organized under the department area Children, Youth & PPR. There is close and coordinated cooperation with the day care and school departments, including many cross-cutting projects and development work at both the administrative level and in practice.

We expect that you

• Are trained as a teacher, preferably with an advanced degree such as cand. pæd. pæd. psych, candidate in inclusion, PD in special pedagogy or similar
• Have experience in guiding teams in public schools
• Incorporate the child’s voice and the parents’ perspective as a central part of your guidance
• Can adjust your approach and input to the educational effort so your guidance meets the team’s needs regardless of their current situation
• Are passionate about working very closely with the schools’ pedagogical and didactic practice
• See potential in and have experience with community-building didactics and community-building instruction
• Thrive with solving very varied tasks both independently and in collaboration with others
