Spirer - create joy for our elderly residents at Rolstruplund

We can now offer a special job opportunity for you who are between 14 - 17 years old.

The job is called ”Spirer”, and it takes place at the nursing home Rolstruplund in Nykøbing.

We welcome you to a part-time job where you can

• - Contribute to creating joy and well-being for the residents
• - Make people smile
• - Motivate the residents to participate in various activities
• - Gain insight into working with people

Tasks

We hope you can help create life, laughter and good activities together with our residents.

Your tasks always take place together with the residents and are primarily social in nature.

Work tasks can for example be to

• Read for the residents
• Going for walks with the residents
• Play games
• Play music or sing for and with the residents
• Talk – about what is happening now or about the old days
• Tell about your everyday life and life as a young person
• Fold clean laundry together with the residents
• Or perhaps you have an interest you want to share with them

More about the job

Your working hours will be 2 afternoons per week of about two hours duration, which will be arranged closer so it fits with your other leisure activities.

When you start, you will receive a good introduction to the place, your new colleagues and to the residents.

You will also be assigned a mentor who will closely follow you in the job.

Salary and employment terms

If you are 14-15 you receive 68.47 DKK per hour, and if you are 16-17 you receive 82.83 DKK per hour.

Salary and employment terms follow the agreement for youths under 18 years in inspirational employment within elder care in municipalities, which is entered into between FOA and KL (73.02). Note that the agreement does not include 13-year-olds.

Employment from 1 December 2026

It is also noted that the agreement does not apply longer than until you turn 18. Therefore you will automatically cease to be employed as a sprout at the end of the month in which you turn 18.
