About the job

Lyngparken seeks a social and health care assistant for night shifts, who thrives on both independent work and teamwork, has a sharp professional outlook and meets both residents and colleagues with calmness and respect.

The night shift is where the quiet descends – but where professionalism never sleeps. It is you who keeps the overview, makes the decisions and creates security when the rest of the house is resting. You don’t need to be a superhero – but be professionally strong, calm and confident in working independently and taking responsibility.

Lyngparken is a care home with 47 residents – of which 7 are temporary housing. We are one part of a total of three care homes located on the same site. This provides a lively, professional environment and good opportunities for collaboration and sparring across – also on the night shift.

We work for a everyday life with safety, presence and professional quality – always with respect for each individual resident's wishes, needs and resources. Therefore we are also curious about how new solutions and welfare technology can help create even greater security for our residents and at the same time support staff’s professional work.

In the near future we will have the opportunity to become part of an exciting project where we will test a new welfare-technological call system. The system can, among other things, notify if a resident leaves the bed or lies on the floor at night. It gives us the opportunity to respond quickly when help is needed – while the resident can get as much rest and undisturbed night sleep as possible.

For us, technology should support people – not replace them. Welfare technology can help create security, provide better overview and help us be where the need is greatest. But it can never replace professionalism, care or the collegial collaboration.

Therefore you as a night shift nurse are never alone. We prioritise sparring, shared responsibility and a helpful culture where you back each other up and share knowledge – also when the work requires independence.

There is security in knowing that you can rely on each other, and the collaboration between night shifts is largely characterized by trust, an overview and a shared professional direction.

Who are you?

  • Qualified social- and health care assistant with solid professional understanding of care, nursing and health-related tasks.
  • Calm, responsible and decisive – you can maintain the overview at night, prioritise tasks and respond to acute changes in residents’ condition.
  • Confident with independent decisions and willing to stand professionally strong, even when there are not many colleagues around you.
  • A good collaborative partner, working rehabilitatively and from a person-centered approach – and contributing constructively to cross-shift collaboration.

What do we offer?

  • Self-chosen work hours with the opportunity to influence your roster.
  • A workplace with high well-being, skilled colleagues and a good atmosphere – also across shifts.
  • Present management with a focus on dialogue, trust and professional sparring.
  • Thorough introduction and structured onboarding, so you get a secure start on the night shift.
  • A strong collegial community where professionalism and integrity are in focus.
  • A meaningful job where your efforts create security and quality in residents’ nights.
